Description: R3DT offers the most user-friendly Virtual Reality (VR) tool for industrial engineering. Our innovative technology is regularly used throughout the entire planning process. The use cases lie in work and assembly planning including ergonomics, in the layout planning of factories, in product development, in special machinery and plant construction as well as in technical purchasing and sales. In early planning phases in particular, virtual prototypes help to avoid errors that are otherwise difficult to identify. In addition, the development and planning phases are shortened. Elaborate mockups and real prototypes become superfluous. The bottom line is that users save a lot of time and money. The team of R3DT GmbH around mechanical engineer Andreas Ruedenauer, software developer Julien Kipp and business economist Achim Schneider started as a spin-off from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The VR software was developed in 2016/17 in the CyberLab, the IT accelerator of the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg. Today, the start-up company has its offices in the “Technologiefabrik” of the IHK Karlsruhe.
