Description: Enabling LIVE 360 & VR experiences since 2012. Mativision Limited (formerly registered as Spot Seven Limited), delivers Virtual Reality (VR) experiences across industry verticals leveraging the proprietary Mativision® 360˚Video VR technology. Established in 2012 in London as a private limited company, by founder and Mativision’s inventor Anthony Karydis, the company has completed two seed rounds of £300,000 each, in December 2015 and November 2016. Funds for both rounds came from the same three private investors (two eminent doctors and a financial advisor) who collectively own 16% of the company equity (as of 30 September 2017). The company has reserved 8% as EMI Options as personnel incentives. 2016 was a pivotal year in the development of the company, as it tripled its revenues compared to 2015 and also tripled its IP valuation (by an independent specialist valuation company) quoted close to £10M. We entered Medical VR, Education & Training, and delivered the world’s first live stream to VR of a Surgical Operation from St Barts, London/UK. In July 2016 we launched the VLIPPmed® mobile VR platform, which has 100,000 installations. Our VRinCR®, VR-based Seminar Delivery system allows any classroom to deliver immersive experiences using synchronised VR Headsets. The first commercial installations are already in operation in the UK and the company has signed a nationwide distribution agreement with a major distributor to facilitate deploying turn- key VRinCR® installations across markets. At the end of 2016, Mativision (as Spot Seven Limited) was inducted into the prestigious IP100 League Table, listing the top 100 UK based companies in respect of IP value. We ranked #1 in Software IP, #4 in Industrial Secrets and top 20 in Brand Reputation. We ranked 5th amongst the 10 fastest growing interactive companies in London (Datafox, 2016) and have delivered 360 VR projects for Facebook. Google, MTV, Vodafone, Jeep, Fox Studios, Samsung and many more. Our field-proven, end-to-end workflow captures and livestreams directly to VR devices, from multiple synchronised 360 degree cameras, selectable by the viewer (USP). Central to the company’s offering is its Mativision™ VR&360° player, which is the world’s only turn-key technology for the production of 360 interactive content and experiences, from filming to broadcast across multiple platforms including the web, mobile applications and VR headset. In October 2017, the company changed its name to Mativision Limited, aiming to consolidate and strengthen the internationally known brand.
